here's how you can tell - if there any web links in the email, move you cursor over them (do NOT click on the link) and look at teh address at the bottom of the browser - it will probably be something wacky like 987aGXQWEFDYTA.COM - which is definitely not paypal's website - just forward the email to spoof@paypal.com - this will help them get rid of the these criminal scammer websites

and Paypal is definitely NOT a Craigslist company - eBay owns Paypal

it seems like a spoof since there are several grammar errors. However, you can log into your paypal account and check it out from there, there should be a way to add the tracking number to the payment file. You could also call or email paypal at their real email address. The one given in the email looks obviously fraudulent "@mail2consultant.com" I'd say chances are at least 99.99% this is fake.

It's a scam.

Mail from Paypal would have your name, not just "Paypal member"

The real Paypal customer service department would be "@paypal.com"

Forward the e-mail to spoof@paypal.com and they'll tell you it's fake.

Yes, if it were a real PayPal message it would be going to a real PayPal address not mail2consultant.com.

Paypal isn't a craigslist company, and their email address is @paypal.com not @mail2consultant.com

It's a fraud.
