It's already been shipped but shouldn't be to my old address in a few days, will UPS change it for me?

No....but if you call UPS right away with your tracking information, they will redirect the package for you.

1-800-PICK-UPS

If no one accepts the package at the old address within 3 attempts, the package will go back to the shipper. UPS has no way of knowing you have a new address unless you tell them.

For example...if you turned in a change of address with the postal service, then USPS knows, but they don't share that information with UPS because we are a private company....the only way we know about a change of address is if we are notified directly.

Notify your local post office since the zip code is correct they will still attempt to identify and deliever the package to the correct address.

Well if it is too your old address then yea you can just send it there. If it is an entirely incorrect address then either that person at that house gets something free, they resend it to the person that shipped it, or if you can get them to get it in their heads that it is the wrong address then it will be corrected.

Track it and when they go to deliver it just sit at your old address til they show up. No just call UPS and talk to them they will go get the package and you can pick it up at there location. You will have to show an government id.
