Hi, I have a question,

If someone sends me a payment directly through paypal, not through ebay or anything but just from paypal. After I recieve it, can they someone take the money back?

if they paid with their credit card they can go through their company to do a stop payment or file a claim through pay pal but other than that only if you issue a refund.

Think of Paypal as the middle man between you and the buyer. Once they give him the money, and he gives it to you, the buyer can only be refunded if your happy in doing so. Your paypal account is exclusive to you, sort of like your own bank account and so no one will be able to take anything out without your say, regardless of if they paid by a credit card or from their bank account. paypal is not refundable.... once it is bought its yours there is no exchange for money like a normal store or online store.



edit: its the same from your bank account..... paypal IS paid straight from your bank account. the only reason to use paypal is because you dont have to actually put your account number from your bank on the internet so its more safe.

no, once the payment is made , its yours , not unless paypal refunds them after a dispute, but there is a process for that. a paypal account is just like a bank account
