The PF Lens is just a name for a particular optical Lens. It cannot see through your clothing. It was an email hoax that was distributed through the normal "Send this on to everyone you know" type of thing.



Now one of the Sony camcorders does have the PF Lens on it. However that is not what cuts through the clothing. It has an infrared enhancement that is used to video at night. However, when this filter is turned on during the day, you can actually see private details, especially through swimsuits. It is this infrared night vision that does the peeking, not the optical PF Lens.

If you could make a pair of glasses that used xray technology you could see bones. If you made glasses with an magnetic Resonance imaging or MRI then you could see masses within cells. With CT scans you can take slicesof the brain and see if there are tumors etc I dont think they have made anything to see through clothes( you have to be clever and romantic to get the person to take them off. I am not sure about the walls either.
