And what processes in the organization use the client-server technology?

Most of the web is essentially client-server (with the web page being a client, and the 'back end' that's processing your requests and providing web pages as a server). The web browser doesn't do TONS of processing, but with javascript, flash, java, etc it is doing some.



Pretty much every corporation uses "client-server" technology for some part of their business. The classic example is a database that is shared over the whole application, with multiple client machines accessing it.

properly, no longer something to do each and every with different? in networking is peer-to-peer or client server.... peer to look = all and sundry equivalent roles.... client server = client asks, server responds..... information superhighway-based technologies = whilst u browse an internet site on an intranet server or information superhighway your browser is the customer....
