Okay basically i sent a product back to NIKE and they told me to send the product to this address:

Nike RLC
26755 SW 95th Ave
Wilsonville, Oregon 97070

But instead i made a mistake and put this:

Nike RLC
26755 FW 95th Ave
Wilsonville, Oregon 97070

So intead of the SW i put FW before 95th Avenue, do you think the post office can easily correct this and know the destination, i mean it is a big company like Nike, or will they break my head and sent it back to me? My friend told me that the system can detect a minor error and most likely fix it. wat do u guys think? oh and there is no address with the FW only the SW.

I know at work the postal carrier often brings us mail that is not addressed correcty and we are not even famous like Nike.

I do believe you are safe - the USPS goes by the zip code on letters and packages. Most of the time the package will be delivered to the correct address due to the zip code and most particularly with addresses in Oregon as they tend to be smaller towns there. With a big name like Nike on it I am sure you are fine. Don't sweat the small stuff in life! Ask youself if this will be important to your life in five years. No? Then it is to be filed in the "small stuff" compartment. :)

yes we do fix it because that small of a mistake isn't much ...today i had to take a check to a new house on my rt that had 421 on it but the name wasn't right for that # the name matched 481 so i took it where it belonged and told the little senior citizen man to make sure he called ss office and get it corrected so his check would be OK from now on ...we do know 99% of the time where the items belong the worse mistake to make is the zipcode because that is what it is routed to state and town with as long as the zip is correct the postal employees in that town and office can take it from there we do it alot no worries been working for them for almost 14yrs now

They most likely won't worry about it.

My house gets mail from a person whos adress looks like ours, but the zip code is wrong, and there is a 'West' in front of the adress, when ours doesn't have it.

Example:

OURS: 666 Hiccup Road, Orlando FL 71411

OTHER: 666 West Hiccup Road, Orlando FL 87541

Yes the post office can correct this error since the company name is correct & its a reputed one.

Your friend is right. They cn detect a minor error. You should have no problems at all getting it to Nike =]
