i sell all the time on ebay if it is not the right item you are entittled to a full refund and if they wont give you report to ebay.plus dont pay for postage back to him let ebay sort it out.go into dispute and follow instructions PS IT TAKES EBAY A WHILE TO GET YOU YOUR MONEY BACK BUT THEY WILL IN THE END

File a complaint with Ebay - it's a form called items significantly not as described. If you paid through paypal do the dispute through them and they will instantly freeze the money in his account until the matter is settled. If he won't settle with you you can then escalate it to a claim and they grab your cash back off him and they give it back to you.

You do need to return it but not until Ebay tells you to and you must get proof of posting (signed for on receipt) so he can't say he didn't recieve it

Not right. If he misrepresented the item, he is responsible for every penny you paid for it and return postage. If you paid by paypal, and this guy won't refund, file a complaint with them. Also, file with Ebay.

IF YOU PAID BY PAYPAL YOU WILL GET FULL REFUND IF YOU POST A DISPUTE AND CLAIM MONEY BACK - YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY STAGE FOR RETURNING THE ITEM.

IF YOU DISPUTE USING EBAY THEY WILL DEDUCT £15 FROM THE TOTAL REFUND
