I Really want a prepaid (credit) card that you can buy at walmart/cvs/ect.

So, do prepaid (giftcards) cards, such as Master/Visa work with Paypal?
Also i was wondering if you need to give any personal information when purchasing a card.

Thanks! :)

Prepaid Visa/MC cards bought at retail locations like Wal-Mart, CVS Pharmacy, etc... do not work well with PayPal because they are anonymous (meaning, not imprinted with your own name).

This creates a problem for PayPal to accept transfers to and from such cards because it is difficult for them to comply with Anti Money Laundering (AML) rules.

You may want to consider non-anonymous prepaid cards that are available online and shipped to you by mail after your name has been imprinted on them. There is no guarantee that they will work better with PayPal, but they should.

Disclosure: my own company offers UPside Visa prepaid cards that are shipped to users with their name on them after identity verification. They are also cheaper than retail cards (because they don't have to support the costs of warehousing and in-store activation)

PayPal would not enable prepaid enjoying cards for use as investment materials. Breaking the guidelines of a charge device on a similar time as making a charge would not sound like a stable concept to me. in case you have some style of dispute with the vendor, PayPal can purely declare you in violation of their consumer words and close your account. they gained't do something to assist somebody overtly violating their rules.

They work perfectly, I use them all the time to protect myself!
