i ordered 4 books from amazon on the 2nd december and the estimated arrival day is today and i have nothing. I used the free delivery you can get when you spend over £15.
Should i be worried or will it be coming soon?
thanks

You will receive an email from amazon stating when the books have been dispatched. Estimated delivery times are just that estimated, they use 2nd class post which takes between 2-5 working days form when amazon actually dispatches the items. If you read the small print on the free delivery it states that it can take anywhere up to 10 working days for items to be dispatched from the warehouse, then add 2-5 working days for delivery from the post office. Sometimes it's better to pay for delivery and be guareenteed to get items within the week. Nothing to worry about!

During the holiday time, post office is quite busy. Amazon uses postal services on the free delivery system. It could take up to 5 business days. Wait until tomorrow. It will be there. I have ordered from Amazon ever since the company started and so far, I never had any unfixable problems.

If you ordered it on 2nd december using supersaver delivery you shouldn't expect it for another few days. Supersaver delivery takes 3-5 working days more than 1st class deliver ... read the small print! You will also get an email when it has been dispatched,

My god woman your a worrier. It will come tomorrow and possibly the day after. If you look at their e/mail there is a link for enquiring where your books are.
Also,it's free delivery for orders of £5 and above, not £15
Stop worrying, you have a lot of reading coming up.
NB.l have used amazon for 5 years with no problems

They'll send you an email telling you when the things have been sent. After that, it can be 2-3 days before it arrives.
You can also log on to amazon, go to your account and there's something like a 'Where's My Order' button. That might help you out!
I know it's hellish waiting for exciting parcels to arrive, but be patient!

you expect delivery from the US to UK in 2 days? forget it - They probably haven't even shipped it yet - it IS the busy season you know. it takes longer than 2 days to get shipments from them if you LIVE in the US - I would expect at least another week - especially if you use free delivery - that will make it the lowest shipping priority

needless to say there are postal delays, have you ever no longer considered the present climate. in spite of the fact that if there have been no longer, you haven't any longer allowed sufficient time; ebay sellers have 7 days to submit your merchandise and RM do no longer classification an merchandise as lacking until 15 days after posting. wait and notice.

I'm sure it will be with you in a day or so. Have you had the 'item dispatched' e-mail?
