here's the rules... you have plenty of food and drink. you have shelter. you'll be there for 30 days.

you can bring one sentimental item, one practical item, and one entertaining item. what will you take?

my sentimental item would be my photo album so i wouldnt miss the kids as much

my practical item would be my hubby for obvious reasons

my entertainment item would be chris rock cos he so funny and i am pretty sure that being on a deserted island for 30 days i would need laughter

added: i am glad you found it funny so did hubby when i showed it to him as for why i chose to put it in practical 1: he is a butcher by trade

2: i will need affection

3: we need holiday from the kids

Sentimental... assuming that I can wear whatever clothes I wish to the island, I'd take the ring that my grandmother gave me for my 10th birthday, which was just over a year before she died. I can't wear it, and it can't be resized, but I wear it on a chain.

Practically, I'd take the ESEE H.E.S.T. knife that my father gave me for my 14th birthday. It's just a nice, working knife.

Entertainment wise, I'd bring my copy of "A Walk in the Woods" by Bill Bryson.

For sentimental reasons I would bring an old friend so that we could sit and reminice. For practicle reasons I would bring blankets so we can be comfy. For enetertainment paint and several canvases.

EDIT I have a month, so Im thinking scenery, portraits (of my friend), abstracts, a little of everything--- Ill also need brushes and paper and pencils ---I hope this doesnt start to count as more than one thing

one sentimental item: a picture of my daughter & husband

one practical item: a fluffy blanket

one entertaining item: can I take my computer w/ internet connection so I can still play Y! Answers only? That 30 days will fly by in no time!

Fine, fine- If I can't take my computer then how about a book or some magazines.

My cellphone for Sentimental

A generator for Practical(For charging my cellphone back up)

A man for Entertainment (But not one like UNPREDICTABLE that would only want to play with my cellphone!!) lol..

Addition:

Patzky, now I'm aggravated, so as soon as I get there, I am throwing my cellphone in a sharks mouth! Which has rendered the generator useless to me, so I'll throw it in too! Which will leave me nothing but the man I took with me.

So now only having him for one solid month for pass time and entertainment, you've forced me to cause his death! So before leaving, I'll have to throw him in the water, too.

Well, I hope you're happy now!!

It's okay though, they're all replaceable and it sure made packing to go home easy. lol..

Sentimental: my man's penis, so i can remember the best part of him :D :D :D

Practical: a midget, because you never know when you are going to need one

Entertainment: a platypus, since obviously God was entertained by it

Sentimental one is giving me grief, so I'll skip it and maybe come back later if it hits me.

Practical: SPF 15 since if I'm alone, thats about all I'll be wearing. (grin)

Entertainment : my loaded mp3 player with plenty of batteries ( hmmm , now that I think of it, I may have that sentimental choice after all )
