I've just received an email from Halifax saying that my "account will be deactivated within the next 24 hours due to several unsuccessful login attempts on it." The only problem is that I don't have an account with them, what should I do?

never answer these scam emails, the bank will write to you directly should there be any such problems, DELETE IT and any others that come through from other make believe companies, they are just after your personal details, NEVER disclose your personal details in response to any of these emails, very dangerous, once they have your date of birth and other such details, you have left yourself wide open to fraudsters,

Just ignore it and delete it.
