I'm working on a group project report for a marketing subject and it says to include a copy of meeting minutes in the appendix.

What is it exactly? By " a copy", do they mean just for one meeting? We have met up a few times to work on it.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

At every meeting, one person is a d edicated scribe whose only job is to record everything that happened in the meeting:

-What time was the meeting?

-What date and time did you meet?

-Where did you all meet?

-Who was present?

-Who was absent (and why)?

-What was the meeting's agenda?

-For each discussion topic, record who said what and what the final decision was made

-Basically, every detail of who said what and what happened needs to be recorded.

-End by recording the time the meeting ended and a brief summary of what was decided.

This is a detailed minutes of the meeting but it can be less thorough if you wish...

Meeting minutes contain a record of a meeting. The minutes show the date of the meeting, a list of people who attended, the agenda, and details of discussions and decisions made.

For the context of your project, that means that you should have been taking those notes right from the start and you will need to include those details to get the best marks.

If you don't know how to take or format minutes the speak to your teacher or prof on where to find that information.

If it the minutes of a meeting of the board of Directors of a company that you need, you are out of luck. These are only available to the Directors present, and to their authorised accountants, and lawyers, except on court order, and for the Inland Revenue Department. (Company tax).
