I won an item in ebay, the seller apparently mailed my item,it has been 3 days almost 4 and the USPS website tracking still says "shipping label created" it a first class mail,I'm using the tracking number the seller provided me with. Is my package on the way???Does the tracking not update for first class??

"Shipping label created"

What it means is the seller purchased a shipping label online for the pkg. It does NOT mean the shipper attached the label to the pkg or actually put your item in the mail. Until he does, you will ONLY see that message.

I've bought from ebay sellers a number of times & nearly every item I ever purchased came first class mail & I had tracking info from the time they dropped off their pkg at a PO to the time it was delivered to my home. There is no tracking for media mail.

Just because he hasn't shipped your item yet, does NOT mean it is not coming. He is just slow .. You can always email the seller & ask if he ever shipped it because tracking info says not. Yes, occasionally there are glitches with USPS; but my guess is he hasn't actually put your item in the mail yet.

It's been my experience that the status for first class mail doesn't update. The package just shows up. Priority and Express Mail do have updated statuses.

I agree, my First Class mail does not update. Do not worry it is coming.
