I don't understand what is going on, as I received a payment, that PayPal put on hold.
I will quote what the email I got from PayPal said..

It would appear that your "buyer" wasn't the account holder ie their PayPal account got hacked. Did you send the item to the registered PayPal address or did the buyer tell you to send it elsewhere? If you've sent it elsewhere, you've lost your seller protection. Hopefully though you haven't sent it, so don't. I don't know what documentation they want you to fax, copies of any email correspondence or a copy of the shipping receipt? Phone PayPal and get it clarified. I'd say you won't be receiving the money at all and hopefully you still have your item which you can re sell to someone else.

Ebay will contact you and demand payment for the item. If you don't pay, the seller can relist the item. You might end up getting a negative rating on that transaction or a ban. Ask the seller if other payment options are fine like check or money order.
